My goal is for you to look and feel wonderful during your session or wedding. I'll direct you in flattering ways and will capture a variety of angles and poses. If you have an insecurity you'd like me to be aware of, please let me know up front so I can direct with that in mind. I will only edit features that last ~2 weeks or less (scrapes, zits, bruises, etc.). I do not alter long-lasting characteristics (height, weight, body shape, etc.) and to be honest - I am not trained in that kind of editing! That being said, I believe in celebrating bodies as they are and documenting real, genuine moments. I hope that past any self-criticism, you see the joy and love radiating in the photos, which is why I do this job.
WILL YOU PHOTOSHOP ME?

The short answer is no! If there are specific pieces of jewelry or a special moment you are planning on having with your grandpa, please let me know! Otherwise, I will capture your rings, your flowers, first kiss, the ceremony set up, reception setup, and SO much more. I have shot many weddings and I know you want to remember all the beautiful things you worked so hard to plan. A shot list that outlines every single photo you want taken will pull me out of the organic nature of your day and make candid moments a lot harder for me to focus on. When you hire me, you can have full confidence that I will capture the day as it is, including all the beautiful details.
Should we give you a shot list?

For weddings, my turnaround time is approximately 8 weeks. For sessions, my turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. *This can vary during different seasons*
How long until we receive our photos?

I do not provide these to clients as my editing style is a huge part of my work, and hopefully you like my work before you hire me! It is an industry standard to not provide RAW images. If you would like small adjustments to the final images, please email me with said request within 30 days of the gallery delivery date and I will let you know if your requests are doable.
CAN I HAVE THE RAW UNEDITED PHOTOS?

Weddings: a 1/3 non-refundable deposit can only be applied to a new date if the change is made at least 12 weeks before. The non-refundable deposit will not be returned if the wedding is cancelled. Sessions: I understand life happens! Let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to find us a new date, at no cost to you.
What if I need to cancel OR reschedule?

The PNW is so tricky, and I tell clients to be prepared for some drizzle! If the weather is looking REALLY bad I will reach out and we’ll adjust our plans, but moving dates can cause serious backups, so I try my best to stick with our original date.

I promise approximately 70 photos per hour of coverage. I am a chronic over-shooter (if you know, you know), and usually deliver more than that. Hopefully you are not set on a specific number of images, but rather thrilled with the different memories captured. What is that they say? Quality over quantity?
